Since the beginning of my career, I have worked to establish HIV/AIDS research, training, and clinical care programs in the United States and abroad. More recently, I have expanded my focus to respond to the growing epidemic of cancer in sub-Saharan Africa where health systems are in critical need of comprehensive care and prevention services.
